I have decided to take a little break and not participate in the May Challenge ....... but I still will enjoy looking at all your great work.

While most already do, my request is that you mention somewhere which element/s you are using in your photo. Thanks a lot.

Several people have asked me for more specific direction on the Elements. And I noticed that some of us call out all or no elements.

If you really think about it, all but the most minimal photos, contain all of the elements. You should be looking for closer, frame filling shots to narrow down your predominant element.

I think we should at the very least call out that most predominant element when posting. Just like we do in every challenge, announcing the adjective for example.

And, in the Elements of Art (as opposed to Design) there is an element of Balance in composition. In Scott's IR photo, he gave us a fine example of that element.
