The 7 elements of design: form, shape, line, space, value, color and texture.
Line: Graphic Unifier, Curved, Straight. Directional Thrust: Horizontal, Vertical, and Diagonal
Shape: Naturalistic, Geometric
Space /Size: Large, Medium, Small, Proportion or Scale
Value: Light, Dark
Color: Hue, Chroma, and Value
Texture: Rough, Smooth, Soft, Hard
Form is any three dimensional object. Form can be measured, from top to bottom (height), side to side (width), and from back to front (depth). Form is also defined by light and dark. There are two types of form, geometric (man-made) and natural (organic form). Form may be created by the combining of two or more shapes. It may be enhanced by tone, texture and color. It can be illustrated or constructed.
The usual rules for a Monthly Challenge apply. Photos posted should be from the current month (or a few days before). You should try to make comments on the other’s photos.

Color, Hue - Flamingos Mating 
Flamingos are pink or orange or white depending on what they eat. Flamingos eat algae and crustaceans that contain pigments called carotenoids. Captive flamingos are feed a special diet that includes prawns (a pigmented crustacean) or additives such as beta-carotene or canthaxanthin, otherwise they would be white or pale pink. Young flamingos have gray plumage that changes color according to their diet.
