WEEKLY INFORMAL CHALLENGE 156: "Planes, Train & Automobiles"

Post Fri Apr 05, 2013 2:41 pm

Weekly Challenge: "Planes, Train & Automobiles"

The Theme for this week is In "Planes, Train & Automobiles". Show us a photo of a mode of transport, not only planes, trains and automobiles, but bicycles, skateboards, buses, rockets, hovercraft....I think you get the meaning. One twist though, make it an unusual photo, whether by subject, composition, perspective, processing, etc.

A few simple rules:

1. Themes are posted on Fridays to give you the weekend to come up with a [color=#40BF00]FRESH shot for the challenge to post through Monday.

2. This is about interaction, learning, being challenged and having fun so... HAVE FUN!

3. The themes are specific but interpretations are broad. Stay on theme but PLEASE feel free to think outside the box.

4. Look at others' submissions, comment as moved to do so and offer supportive and constructive feedback. Please don't just post for exposure. Look and at least comment on some.

5. Did we already mention: HAVE FUN!!!

Good one. I'm hoping to come out of hibernation next week after I get through the last birthday party this weekend.

An eastbound UP freight passing thru Big Sandy Texas.

While photographing trains remember that railroad property is private property. Many photographers get into trouble while trespassing on railroad property. Todays locomotives are extremely quiet and their speed in very deceptive.
