Nostalgic atmosphere, family heirlooms

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost ~ J. R. R. Tolkien

I've just come back from a wonderful walk along the beach here. The atmosphere was just right!!! No crowds, no kids, no animals, no stress, no noise... And it's summertime here in NZ

My left eye was done on Tuesday and the right one will be done in another 2-3 weeks. At the moment, computer work is incredibly difficult. I apologize for not making comments on everyone’s image in the last weekly challenge of “Unseen.” Also, thanks for all the kind words you left on my photo.
My surgeon assures me I’m going to love the results when all is done and healed … I am not going to need glasses anymore!
Hope to be back when it’s all over,
Janet

Take care and heal quickly.

Interesting atmosphere around here the last few days -
On Friday we got 6 inches of very wet snow that stuck to everything. Then it turned very cold and we got 6 inches of fluffy powder.
Somehow much of the snow crystallized. This morning, the sun was out with a very blue sky. When I started hiking, it was about 10 degrees F.

Here is my image of a cold clear atmosphere:

Very best wishes to you Janet. I understand this treatment is very successful.
Take it easy, we'll still be here when you feel ready to come back. Chris :)
