I'm on the road visiting family for Thanksgiving so I'm kicking this one off a little early. Just show/give/express thanks or thankfulness in picture form. Do this as expressively and creatively as you see fit. Happy Thanksgiving.

Dad's apple pie

Tom and I traveled to Louisiana for Thanksgiving. We wanted to beat the holiday traffic so we left a few hours earlier than usual. THANK GOD that we left early, because we missed being involved in a horrible accident involving 140 cars. The freeway was closed for 8 hours.
I took this photo at the border between Texas and Louisiana. I didn't add or retouch anything. The red stripe is a vapor trail I think.

we had thanksgiving about a month ago.. summer is over.. almost all the leaves are gone but the best
thing to give thanks for in this season is the swan migration... Seeing them fly overhead and race
on the water to move their bottom heavy bodies... So I go down to the lake this time of year
and photo time... outdoors..

I am thankful for beautiful moments like this.

adults too that remind us of many things and people we are thankful for.

We don't have thanksgiving over here .. but
we have "St Niklaas" at 6 december .. the big childrens friends ...

we went to a big Sinterklaasshow last weekend (15.000 people) .. a big show with all the television hero's staring at the show ..

so we say THANKS for the beautiful show ! with lots of happy children !
