Weekly Challenge: "Black and White"

The Challenge this week is to submit a black and white photograph of interest. This may sound easy, but to create a really good digital black and white image is not an easy task. The subject matter, lighting, conversion and enhancements present a few of the challenges. Show us how good you are at creating a black and white image we will remember.

A few simple rules:

1. Themes are posted on Fridays to give you the weekend to come up with a FRESH shot for the challenge to post through Monday.

2. This is about interaction, learning, being challenged and having fun so... HAVE FUN!

3. The themes are specific but interpretations are broad. Stay on theme but PLEASE feel free to think outside the box.

4. Look at others' submissions, comment as moved to do so and offer supportive and constructive feedback. Please don't just post for exposure. Look and at least comment on some.

5. Did we already mention: HAVE FUN!!!

Double entry-was planning on shooting this for Melodic Memory anyway & I was happy to see this weeks challenge is B&W.

What has gotten me through my 1st complete month of PAD for a couple of years:
(Have chronic migraines & new doc put me on preventative RX which seems to be working well. Since getting the dosage higher only a couple of headaches and even tylenol has work for them. Also watching food that may trigger them....nuts, sundried tomatoes . ) My old doc just kept refilling Sumatriptan instead of prescribing a preventative...new doc said if nortriptylline doesn't work there are other rx. I thought I would have just to tolerate the headaches.

It doesn't seem fair for me to enter this challenge since I've been shooting the whole month in black and white. And it isn't converted either although I have made black and whites from digital photos. I'm not great at post processing like others so I'll go with the one I shot today. Hope it counts because I do like to do the weekly challenges. Trust me, you don't want to see my Photoshop attempts. :)

Here's a couple who were thoroughly enjoying themselves ..... dancing on the grass at an outdoor concert in Boca Raton, Florida.

When i was a little girl, there was a B&W picture of an edelweiss in my room taken by father.
now I photographed one too ..(in colour) and put it back in black and white ...as a memory to my childhoud ..
