WEEKLY INFORMAL CHALLENGE: WEEK 102 "Large and Narrow"

Weekly Challenge: "Open and Narrow".

The challenge this week is to open your lenses all the way and use the largest apertures possible (f/1.4, f/1.8, f/2.8, f/3.5, f/4, etc.) to achieve a narrow depth of field. Several examples have been attached below.

A few simple rules:

1. Themes are posted on Fridays to give you the weekend to come up with a FRESH shot for the challenge to post through Monday.

2. This is about interaction, learning, being challenged and having fun so... HAVE FUN!

3. The themes are specific but interpretations are broad. Stay on theme but PLEASE feel free to think outside the box.

4. Look at others' submissions, comment as moved to do so and offer supportive and constructive feedback. Please don't just post for exposure. Look and at least comment on some.

5. Did we already mention: HAVE FUN!!!

I enjoy shooting with the lens wide open so this was right up my alley.
This shot was today's PAD shot, but fits nicely for this weeks challenge as well.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Here's mine. I love using just aperture instead of focal length to control depth of field so this was fun. Even though my subject is a humble one. :)
