WEEKLY INFORMAL CHALLENGE 91: "Fresh/New"

Post Thu Jan 05, 2012 10:16 pm

Weekly Informal Challenge number 91 is Fresh/New

While Weekly Informal Challenge 90 ended in 2012, this is the first full WIC of the new year. A fresh start. A new beginning.

After some thinking and experimenting with ideas I came up with this, when I looked around in my garden.
Still a bit stubborn to make a macro image handheld.

Have a refreshing Pbase year!

I live in south Florida and winter vegetables are at their best right now. Earlier today I went to a local green market to get tomatoes and some succulent, tender Bibb lettuce (which had just been picked at 4:30am this morning). Can't get much fresher than that!

Garden salad for dinner tonight!!!

Not only does the photo deal with "new," I was trying out a new lens today (borrowed from my friend Ed)
- a Tamron AF18-270 F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD (Piezo Drive model B008).
I will be posting a gallery of photos taken with this lens later tonight.
