SEPTEMBER 2011 CHALLENGE - TRANSITION

Post Wed Aug 31, 2011 3:38 pm

Change is every where! From seasonal changes, sunrises, sunsets, growth, progress, the march of time, the movement of the sea... we are surrounded by TRANSITION.

The September Challenge will be to find those changes and photograph them! Images don't have to be taken on a strictly daily basis. Neither do they have to be posted on the same day as they were taken. The only stipulation is that you post 30 photos, one for each day of the month. They have to be taken within the month and not taken prior unless, of course, it is a day or two before when we posted the possible challenge.

PLEASE DO NOT DIP INTO YOUR ARCHIVES, THE PURPOSE OF THIS CHALLENGE IS TO SEEK OUT IMAGES AND TAKE PHOTOS.

Please, don’t forget to leave comments for other participants in the challenge. This Challenge is about having fun and camaraderie, and to learn from other participants, so check out the images other participants post and comment on at least some of them.

I can't wait to see the TRANSITION!
All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost ~ J. R. R. Tolkien

Here is my FIRST Transition image

I have been following this new flower in my garden for over 2 months, and now it is slowly dying off. It's never flowered before and I believe the whole branch will completely die off with the flower.

My first contribution to this interesting transitional challenge

My first post in any pbase challenge.
Just for fun I'd thought I show how quickly 'transitions' can work.
