Thursday Challenge

Bev and I have been "running" the Thursday challenge since December 2005. It has been great fun for all involved, and has produced many very inventive takes on the challenges.

However, neither Bev nor I feel we are able to continue with the challenge that we started, so are gracefully withdrawing from setting the challenge.

Thank you all for the support that you have given us over the years.

The challenge certainly stretched and improved my photographic abilities and I'm sure that I'm not alone!!

I have so enjoyed these Thursday challenges and really appreciate both of you for your creativity. Thank you, Thank you. I will really miss these and hope that someone might start up another weekly challenge as that mode fits so well into my life. Would anyone be interested in a weekender challenge?

Even though I have been on pbase since 2005, I did not discover the Thursday challenge until April 2008. I have really enjoyed these challenges and I thank both of you.

Moving forward, I agree with Carolynne that a weekender challenge would work a whole lot better than trying to cram something in on a work night. Maybe we could work out some kind of rotation system for posting the challenges, so one person is not stuck with it forever. Ideas??

I can understand, Lee and Bev! I've thoroughly enjoyed the weekly challenge but I've been so busy with other projects it gets difficult. I thank you both from the bottom of my heart for the past 5 years. I think I've been posting for around 3. It has been a blast and I may be up for a weekend challenge. Again, thanks for everything!
