Users who post into PaD, photos taken on the current day?

I'm trying to build up a list of users who post and maintain a gallery of one image for the day it was taken on. So if I view images on the 9th of Jan 2010, the exif data would show 9th Jan 2010.

Of course, there are a few of you I already know, but it would be interesting to see how big the group is now.

So if you are a daily shooter and poster, please add to the list and let's see how long it gets

That was, I believe, the idea of the original PAD gallery, which is now full of shots which aren't taken & posted on the same day... I stick to the "take a photo, post it on the day taken" principle myself, although I have slipped on the odd occasion over the last five years...!

My first year was a true PAD.

Today, I post every day, although the photo itself may have been taken a day or two beforehand. This approach gives me just a bit more latitude, has eliminated a source of stress, and has allowed me to relax with the camera.

I try and stick to shooting and posting on the same day, but sometimes real life just gets in the way. In any event, I do take a photo everyday, whether it gets posted the same day is another story.

Well I take 'Photo-a-Day' to mean that every day, you take a photo. So, every day I take (at least) a photo.... the vast majority of days I upload the photo on the same day, but if I'm away I'll catch up with the uploading stuff later. Uploading to PBase isn't the objective for me, taking the photo is.

I take photos every day. I post a photo every day too. But I work full time, so the photo I take today, will be posted tomorrow.
My rule is the photo's in my PaD are less than 24 - 30 hours old. Once in a while something happens and I will post an archive shot but I note it for all to see.

I may not always post it on the day it was taken, but at the end of the year I am hoping to have a photo shot on each day of the year. I did it in 2007. It's not as easy as it would seem. Here's this year's gallery

I've done a photo a day, taken on the day, posted as soon to the day as possible in the past. For the last couple of years, I've done a photo some days, rarely posted on the day it was shot. I stopped padding for a while but found I remembered the year far less well without the visual reminder so I've started again but in a much more relaxed way about it all.

A couple of years ago I did a PaD with the original rules. Then I got away from it for a bit. Starting Jan 1, I began a new PaD which I hope will follow the shoot and post per that day rule. It is at http://www.pbase.com/jimgephart/padmmx .

I'm sure that a couple of the shots will say the next day on Exif info as I'm sometimes shooting around midnight and I don't change the clock in the camera to adjust for daylight savings time. But I still hold true to the intent.

Thanks for posting this as it's interesting to catch up with others doing this.
I've being doing a strict posted on the day it was taken PAD since last September as before that I
had been posting 'freshly taken' images but not always taken that day. I am enjoying the
challenge of the taking a pic for posting each day and have mostly managed to post a fresh
image each day although the template I'm using shows the date posted rather than the date
taken which is a little confusing when I've been away and had to catch up with posting.

I'm a bit of a PAD veteran, but at the moment I'm in "photo most days" mode, but I don't post archive stuff.

I generally post to PBase before midnight, but to me the time you post is not too important as long as you don't label a picture as today's when in fact it was taken several days or weeks ago!

Because I'm also doing the January mono challenge, I'm aiming to do a pic every day this month.

It is my intention to shoot EVERY day and post that day if at all possible, however, we do travel quite a bit; Tibet, Xingjang in West China etc, and it is not possible to post every day for obvious reasons. When I am away, I will shoot an image a day and post them in bulk when I get back. By the 31st I will have 365 images in my PaD, all taken on that appropriate day...

I'd love to be able to stay I take a photo a day, I managed about 160-170 without any missing in 2009, then I hit my uni deadlines, huge projects where due, exams, stress etc. I don't have a lifestyle where I am free at some point during the day, sometimes I don't even have my camera on me (like now) because i'd be shot if the company I am doing my final year project for/at knew I had one, so its not worth it. In addition, if I don't take a good photo, then I don't want to share it! its not that I couldn't learn from it by sharing it, but if I already think its rubbish, then I could learn more by actually shorting something interesting in the first place...

Anyway that’s enough ramblings from me. lol.
