Perhaps Seasonal images of some sort. Afterall, it is Spring in your hemisphere and Autumn in ours. Dramatic weather changes and Mother Nature is working hard to start and stop production.

Ooo, that's a cool idea  Good thinking, Barbara...I'd be happy to continue the hunt too, but we'd need another 30 words

What do others think?

Fine with me. I like the scavenger hunt because we can do the words in the order we like and when we want during the month.

As for the thirty words, how about if the participants of this month each come up with one, or two or three words?

I just remembered that Doug and I had talked about doing a challenge based on Pink Floyd songs earlier this year. We could use thirty of Pink Floyd's song titles for the challenge. Here's a list:

Just a suggestion. :D

I had an idea of selecting 3 different shapes...being that there are 30 days in November divide them into thirds

a scavenger hunt of sorts...
Find 10 round items
Find10 square items
Find10 rectangle items

post 10 of each in a row or as you wish in random order. :?:

The scavenger hunt has been a fun challenge. Be fun to do it again with others suggesting words/ideas. I'd be up for suggesting a couple or 3. Often we have more than one PAD so maybe an alternative PAD since some may prefer a different theme for the challenge.

You mentioned the Pink Floyd songs, but for some who do not know or care for Pink Floyd, might prefer to choose 30 songs by their favorite musician/group.
BTW, Pink Floyd was playing when I took today's hunt 'listen' and Thurs. Challenge. 8) (My personal preference would to be to use 30 songs by Neil or Nils...since they are my fave)

I think both, the Song Challenge and another Scavenger Hunt would give people 2 nice choices.

I do not understand what you mean... taking a list of words out of the titles of pink floyd doesn't have anything to do with your appreciation of this group. It is just a vehicle to get an interesting list. It doesn't affect your taste of music at all. We are just looking for a list. I'm not really interested to know all the favourite musicians of everybody. We were just talking of a list for our hount. as always you can come up with your own interpretation...
Have a look at the list provided by Walter's link and you will see words there... interesting words for a Scavenger Hount. While uploading your pics and commenting you can listen to your favourite music... not obliged to listen to Pink Floyd...

cheers

I like the scavenger hunt formula very much. It gives you freedom and the time to think and find your right shot, which is a very good exercise.
I checked the Pink Floid songs titles and they look very inspiring to me.
I'm very attracted by the "shapes" idea too. In Italy november is going to be very rainy (and boring) so would be great having to deal with themes that can be done either in the open air or indoor.
Anyway I'll love everything :)

I think Barbara's right. Funnily enough, I had thought of suggesting "Any Beatles Song" for a future thursday challenge.

I know very few Pink Floyd songs but the titles will be enough for me.

I am at your mercy. I'll go along with anything...

I found the scavenger hunt was much easier to work. Being able to pick and choose to suit my schedule works very well for me.

Song titles is a great idea. I happen to like Pink Floyd very much and have all their music. But, I personally don't care if it's Nils or PinkF... just looking for words that are thought provoking and inspire me to find a photo.
