Surely you have heard of the great restaurants and wonderful food we have in New Orleans. Eating is a social event for most of us as well as nourishment. We talk about food and experiment with food. And, no, I do not eat alligator, nor nutria or any of those other things that crawl in the muddy swamps. I like, and cook food with fresh seasonings and lots of flavor. My background is mostly Creole (French) cooking and some German, learned from my mother's mother. My mother was a fabulous cook who could make a gourment dinner out of eggs and parsley with a nice sauce, I kid you not. She could bake brioche' like none I have ever eaten--and my brother burned her recipes after her death so I cannot learn it.
I like the September Challenge and thank whoever thought of it. I shall try to participate every day.

I've decided to join the September challenge... ought to be easy since I'm obsessed with food.
Here is my posting for today. It was taken during my lunch hour at work. I work at a park and decided to eat on the pool deck.

Gotta go out for the evening. The step-daughter is delivering a baby!

Here's #2 for Wednesday:

It all begins on the farm.

Day 1
Will try and do the challenge each day but no promises.
Our a/c went out last night and hubby got it fixed today. So nothing better than a cold frosty drink on a hot summer day.
