Ideas for June - Post Here!

Please post your ideas for a June theme in this thread.

Well, I've been beaten up at work for the last month and it looks like it might continue for a while. So, I need something simple...like a letter of the alphabet. For example, I might pick the letter "B". So my entries would be babies, babes, boots, bottoms, bugs, birds...you get the idea. And everyone could select their own letter.

I know others did, but I never did the colour "red".

Morning Everyone,

I haven't looked through the old forum posts for monthly challenges, so excuse me if the suggestions below have been done before:

- Bricks & Mortar - or something similar along a building theme? It needn't be strictly bricks or mortar either, it could be anything which has been built.
- Iron & Steel - anything from a metallic PoV
- Edible June - foodstuffs of all descriptions!
- there was a Thursday Challenge in late March which was "Phrases, Sayings & Quotations". Could we expand that for a whole month?
- book, film or TV titles
- or, following on from last month, we could "Zoom In June"...so lots of pics from the telephoto end of our lenses (I guess this would be a focal length of >55mm @35mm?)
- umm....

I like Dennis' idea of taking one letter and using that as a subject for the month...who's for the letter Z?

Just a few ideas to get the grey cells working, we don't have long to decide!

Doug made some good suggestions.
I am not that much in favor for the Phrases, Sayings & Quotations and book, film or TV titles, because we did songs, poems and proverbs in november last year.
But everything else is fine.
Choosing a first letter is okay with me too.

why not something our world is full off; ugly, annoying, dangerous, toxic, politicians things!

After going wide in May, I could easily "Zoom In June". It's not too demanding or specific, so hopefully there will be lots of participants.
"Brick and Mortar" sounds good too.

Or structures, a structure a day, in the sence of texture.
the structure of wood, stone, bricks, iron, paper, walls, sand, a trunck, your road, a cats hair, your own skin ... etc ... etc ...

How about a "what is it?" challenge? Take a picture of something, and we guess what it is!

Why not colour in the city, village or township as a theme.
Being a rookie on this subject you might have done this already.
The idea came to me walking today through Southbank, Melbourne.

I'm not too fussy, but Iron and steel is appealing.

I'm happy with Iron & Steel...shall we go with that??? We can make it a (excuse the month of May pun) wide subject open to folks' interpretation...so that can include photos of textures, structures, big/small, little/large etc etc....and although it's Iron & Steel, the posts can be of anything as long as the subject is metallic.

Any other last minute ideas?
