Thanks to all for a fun 2008

In September I was really growing tired of the PAD thing and discovered Faye's Scavenger Hunt, that was a blast and got me going again, followed by Werners October Another Hunt, then Marie's November Challenge: A Song, A Poem or A Proverb and finally my Alphabet Soup for December I was able to finish the year and enjoyed chasing down all these images for the challenges. Thanks to all of you who contributed to these events and for sharing your excellent images with all of us.

This ends the second year of doing a PAD for me, I am not sure I will continue. It has been fun, but the reason I started doing a PAD seems to have passed for me. Since 1987 I have worked as a photographer, over those years I had become somewhat jaded and bored with photography. I began the PAD to reconnect with what I found fun in photography. It did work; however, after two years now the PAD has almost become as much of a "job" as work has been. LOL

Thanks again, I'll still be posting and commenting, just maybe not on a daily basis...but I said the same thing last January. LOL And I do have this insane idea to try to do the PAD thing on all film this year, using my Leicas and old Nikons...so who knows....
