Hi all,

I'm quite new to PBase having started my PAD at the beginning of October 2007. I've noticed that some members get lots of comments on their PAD photos while others don't get as many or none at all. Some of the work I've seen which struggles to get comments is of a very high standard in my opinion. Does anybody have any tips on how to attract comments? I make sure I regularly comment on other members photos but wondered if there is something else that can be done.

Thanks,

Mike

I have been using pbase for just over a year and here is the best advice I can give for comments. By just posting a PAD, you don't get a lot of comments unless the picture is really unique and amazing. But if you are participating in a challenge like the Thursday Challenge or the monthly challenges (January is Macro month), then you will get a lot more comments. Plus as time goes by, people add you to their favorites. I know a lot of regulars only look at their favorites rather than the PAD. Hope this helps!

Hi Blachly,

Thank you very much for your reply, it is very helpful. As luck would have it, I'm buying a macro lens later this month so will post on the January thread.

Thanks again,

Mike
