PAD 2007 Completed

Having completed two years of PADing I've decided to take a month off to catch up on other projects. I'll catch up with everyone in time.

Hi Dave,

Congrats on completing the PaD. I've just completed mine - and kept my 2008 new year resolution of NOT taking a photo on Jan 1st so I could break the sequence and not be tempted to keep going.

It was a rewarding experience. I think. I certainly took loads of photos I wouldn't normally have done, and I took some I'm quite proud of. But I also took a load of rubbish ones, and the phrase "It'll do for a PaD" crept into my vocabulary. Which meant to me that it was time to stop after 12 months, because the whole point of PaD to me was to improve my photography, not to make do with sub standard images just to keep a challenge going.

I'll have a short break, but then be back on Pbase with a PESO or similar.

I'll echo Dave's comments and thank everyone who gave me encouragement. You know who you are, and it really did keep me going.
