PAD on the brain

Post Wed Mar 24, 2004 11:43 pm

I edit the newsletter for the San Diego Astronomy Association and have been working on the next issue. At our club's dark-sky site, we have several sets of "pads" -- cement slabs with nearby electricity where members can set up telescopes. I've gotten so used to seeing the letters P-A-D in all caps here, that it wasn't until the third time I did it that I caught myself changing "pad" to "PAD" in SDAA newsletter articles!

LoL I had to read your post several times just to remember that "pad" is actually a real word.
