I went on a photo shoot with a couple of friends on Sunday, Nov. 21. We had no particular destination. We just drove down the road (after eating breakfast at a great little diner, of course) looking for interesting things to shoot. My images are here:

Went out with a MeetUp group (Nov. 20th) to shoot abandoned homestead sites around 29 Palms California. Most of the homes were nothing more than a cement slab and four walls. Stopped at an art gallery and got to use a glass outhouse with a nice view (see photo). I also tried to do some light paint in the evening, but got chased out by rain after only a few shots. To animals lovers.. I'd like to introduce our newest family member, who we adopted from the humane society 5 days ago.
Charlie was a feral stray kitten picked up by authorities at 5 weeks old and went into foster care. She is estimated at 3 months old now.

I love animals and am happy to give a home to a homeless kitten. I hope everyone will spay and neuter their pets, there are too many unwanted animals born each day.

Our photo club visited the George Eastman house International Museum of photography and Film, located in Rochester, NY, today.
Photography is allowed in and around the house, but not in the galleries. My images from this shoot are here:

George Eastman founded the Eastman Kodak Company. Steven Sasson, a Kodak engineer invented the digital camera in 1975.

Thought I'd do some experimenting with smoke tonight!

This gallery has been updated to show both smoke on white as well as smoke on black. Enjoy!

This past weekend I did a project using 60 Watt light bulbs. You can see the results here:

Do you have any new non-pad galleries to tell us about? I'd love to see them!

Thanks for reviving this thread Inga, I'd forgotten all about it.

My newest gallery is one of the Getty Center in L.A. with all images taken with a wide angle lens:

Thanks for having a look.

my late style

"What artist does not yearn, some day, to possess a "late style"?
A late style would reflect a life of learning, the wisdom that comes from experience,
the sadness that comes from wisdom and a mastery of craft that has nothing left to prove"
