Recently while at a local county park I had the opportunity to get some images of a gator consuming a morning meal. I was trying hard to find a perspective on a red shouldered hawk up in a dense tree, but he was backlit, when I heard a loud splash behind me. As I approached a small pond there was this fairly large gator with something in his mouth. He stoped thrashing about as I entered his comfort zone and it was then that I could clearly see it was a soft shell turtle.

Anyhow I titled the series, Going, Going, Gone! and if you visit this little gallery you'll see what I mean by that.

The Watercress steam railway held a 1944 event. About 200 or so people dressed up, some acting out too.
