Welcome aboard Gary. I only started PaD two weeks ago. I love the way it helps me to keep an eagle eye out for a new picture each day. And so far I have followed the rules and shot something new each day. Not all are great, but the learning (as you know) is lots of fun.
You clearly have some talent, and I look forward to following your work!

Ok, I'm slow. I just realized there is a forum here. It only took me a week or two to realize my photos were being posted to the site every day. But since I found that gallery, I have been going there every day and seeing what everyone is up to.

My name is Robbie Arkovich and I creatively came up with the user name, "Robbie Arkovich." My photo interestes vary but I like to shoot scenics and landscapes. I like to take commonplace scenes and isolate them into an interesting image. I like people to think to themselves, "I've never looked at ___ that way before."

I started doing PAD as a way to encourage my mother to shoot more photographs with her digital camera. She kept it up for a while. Now I'm really into this. Sometimes I'll come up with a good image. Other times I'm grabbing something at 11:30pm so I don't miss a day.

As you can tell from some of my images, I am a police officer. I usually have my camera with me at work and often shoot photos out on the street. A lot of times they are crashes and such which don't usually post to my pbase gallery. I hope no one is offended if I occasionally use one for my daily photo. I do like to share crash photos because they make people think and hopefully drive more carefully.
