(OT) - A Challenge for all the UK PADers:

[magazine]

Folks, I've been wanting to do a 'PBase Magazine.CO.UK" for a long time. The idea is this:

(Note every use of 'he' implies 'she' or 'he' )

The next (or next next, or whatever) issue will be titled PBase Magazine.CO.UK. Why ?

Because , starting from the editor, to the articles and everything else in the magazine will be from the UK.

We will of course be ready to offer any help and will do all the layout of the magazine.

The selected UK team's responsibility would be:

a) To author the editorial
b) Select the pbase photog and the pro photog you want to interview
(you will interview them in any way you want - phone, email etc.)
c) Select the other articles you want to feature - contact authors as
you see fit and get the interview/article done
d) Approach any other person you want to help you
e) If you want, have a UKer design the cover page too, or request our resident artist Gary to do it for you (your choice, completely)

Think of it as a version of the 'World Wide Wig' or, 'The Frimpong bear' for the Magazine, where it gets 'shipped to the UK' for one full issue.

If this is successful, we will try it for other countries.

Why did we select the UK first ? Well, no particular reason except maybe that your english is probably better or at least as bad as ours, so we don't need to spend time on that front.
