Someone Left A Bogus Comment And Signed My Name

Yes, sadly someone left a bogus (semi-offensive) comment yesterday on someone's photo and put my name in the 'guest' field.
Luckily the photographer knew me and contacted me about it before deleting it.

Perhaps they thought they were just being funny or perhaps it was with malicious intent.
Not sure what they were thinking when they did it but it certainly goes against the spirit of Pbase and makes me wonder
how many other comments might have been dropped under photos with the same intent.

If you see a comment that looks out of place (I lean towards humor sometimes but not blatant suggestive sexual remarks),
contact me to let me know so I can contact the photographer before they decide to blacklist me.

To the person leaving this sort of stuff...get a life!

The same thing happened to me last week. I knew it wasn't the "real person" as the comment would have been completely out of character for them.

I've seen this too, but since they can only fill in a users name and it doesn't have the link to the that users galleries/profile page it is fairly obvious something is fishy... if a person took the trouble to put their name to a comment they might as well sign in.
