One Year PaD Complete - Thanks!

I posted the final photo of a year-long PaD this morning.

I must confess it was a much harder project than I ever imagined. I remember last May being awfully excited about the idea, but by about 3 months in I was finding it hard to keep the energy up.

But I was determined to do the whole year so I kept plugging away. Different months brought different challenges. I would occasionally hit on an idea or two that would spark my interest. Many many times encouragement from other PaDders would give me a boost.

In the end, however, I have to admit that it began to feel like a chore, and I regret that.

I wanted to thank a couple of folks who made the job easier. Forgive me for those I fail to mention, but these valiant "commenters" gave encouragement regularly: George Christakos, J Scott Coile, webcam709, Armin B, SRW, royalld, Karen Steubing, Knox O, Utsav Arora, Adrian Reilly, Eckart Derschmidt, Lynne Duq, Helen Tomlin, Vipin Mayer, and Herbert Knufken.

And the work of Ann LT always made me want to take better pictures. Every visit to her pages humbled me and I long to have a little of her magical eye.

Like many others, I will continue to dabble with a PESO (photo every so often), so my name will still pop up in the meta gallery. But mostly I will be a visitor there, continuing to enjoy and learn from the rest of you.

Very courageous.

I am new to pbase and I must admit, I abuse my PaD to put some selection, as a model it is not so easy...
