Success has its price.

I had a photo of english Boxer Amir Khan here on PBase and because of PBase's high traffic it was placed way up on the first page of Google. The result? Loads of guests posting just saying how wonderful he was - these appeared to be from teenage girls and found them very irritating, so I unpublished the photo. It was like being part of a Fanzine.

I have also had loads of hits on my photo of english badminton player Gail Emms who won the Commonwealth Games gold medal last week with Nathan Robertson. I think this is due to my photo being well placed in the Google photo feature. Since badminton is not a hugely well followed sport by the average UK citizen, I'm assuming people were googling out of curiosity to see what she looked like to win this gold for England. Funny that Nathan hasn't got many hits though....

Adal, the same thing happened to me, though my candid gallery ended up on a voyeur site for a few days. Getting 10,000 hits a day was kind of an ego boost until I figured out why.
I had an image of guys coming to my 'amateur voyeur site', pouring over pictures and then grousing, "Hey! Nobody's naked! No up the skirt shots! What the heck is this?!"
