PADS and Postwork???

Just a question...I've been keepin' with the 1 pic a day rule since I started last month! It has definitely been a challenge, that I 'm stayin' focused on!

Do any PADDERS go back to older images and do some postwork and then use them for THAT day, was just wonderin'.

I definitely use "archive" images, rework them in Photoshop, and then post them for the day they have been reworked. Then again, my own personal rules for PAD are somewhat loose in comparison to some other members here. I admire those people, but would drive myself crazy trying to emulate them, so I do my own thing.

And in six days I will have completed my year. Woohoo!!

I'm with aestus on this one. I try to shoot a photo a day, but there are times I might use an image from the prior weekend and post edit it on the day I use it.

The way I look at it, I began PAD as a way to focus on my personal discipline issues. If you have seen my PBase Magazine covers, I have spent anywhere from 2 to 5 hours on each of them. That definitely equals the amount of time it would have taken me to take a photo. I am more into photo manipulation anyway.

My PAD ends on the 25th of this month and I can honestly say there was one image posted each and every day...

I'm doing the take-one-a-day approach, but feel it's up to everyone to do their own thing. It is a great way of learning and there's no reason at all to force yourself to do something that doesn't suit A couple more months and I might change my approach!

so far.. (since 1st jan 2005) I taken new pics everyday.. It is my way of trying to do new things with my camera daily..

but as some of you do.. I might move to use my archive later on..

for me it is one a day, taken that day, so far but I've only been at it for less than a month. My goal is to keep it this way though since it is the daily use of the camera that is a key thing.

I kind of thought that way in the beginning, but then after people outside of PBase started taking notice of my work it became more about producing product.
