... at this place you may see the interesting History column called Historiensaeule which was made in 1992. It is 10 meters high and created by Jürgen Webers representing the history of Koblenz from the time of Romans (at the bottom of the fountain), the French and the Prussian time and the destruction in the Second World War up to the present day.
