Hallo!

My latest gallery is commissioned work and private, but I visited the excelelnt Indietracks 2008 music festival last week! It is held every year on a vintage railway line int he Midlands - fab, fun, and not quite your average rock festival! Loved it! Which other festival can you go to ina swishy dress and ride a steam train?

Not really a PAD gallery, unless I get a really active lightning storm from which I can capture more than one shot. The opportunities become further limited because I usually only try to shoot when it isn't raining at my house. Lot's of fun and technically challenging because you can't really predict where lightning is going to strike. I'll keep trying until I become a lightning rod.

The Hammock is my newest project. It's a bitter sweet gallery due to summer slipping away and an impending move from this home. I enjoy using the same object in a series of abstracts. It's a creative thought process I like. I hope you enjoy them.

This gallery is of photos that were taken during the International Fireworks Competition that is held in my home town each year.
Unfortunately each photograph only shows a single second or two of the spectacular party in the sky.
I'm not sure how I can improve on them...perhaps a wider angle? Dunno. Will have to wait until next year to try something new.

Anyway, the only processing done is cropping and an adjustment to the levels to bring out the blacks.

I was looking over my images and sadly noting that most of them have been viewed very little. Some have a lot of hits for some reason (probably in someone's blog lol) but whatever. I thought it would be fun for me to see which images have more than 400 hits so I created this gallery...
