Another COLD winter day today! Went to the National Harbor in Maryland with my boyfriend and got a few photos before the cold wind forced us back indoors.

Okay, this isn't monochrome. It started out monochrome,
but I liked the tones in the snow better with the blue and brown colors.
Everything else is b/w. I think this is more selective coloring than monochrome.

Oops... running behind on posts and comments but will catch up.

Today was our monthly photo club meeting and the morning was spent in a macro workshop. This photo was taken of a cactus flower that was a wee-bitty thing... taken with a 100mm macro lens and extensions.

I got some comments that my photo was not monochrome, I thought shades of brown were monochrome. So here it is in black and white. Sorry, just learning.
