My entry today reminds me of Mark Twain's book "Along the Mississippi".

my 20th contribution

Mieke
A (wo)man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his/her life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful. (free to J.W. von Goethe)

One of our favorite places to visit...

Your city is not a major player if it does not have a flatiron building. New York had the first one, but they can also be found in Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Fort Worth. Kingston is only a small city ,150,000, so we only have a small one. But we have one. :) As does Chester, Connecticut at Main & West Main.

More landscape than architecture in this one, but I wanted to keep the atomosphere of the Louisiana Bayou.
