Bob Dylan said it even better

"Jokerman dance to the nightingale tune / Bird fly high by the light of the moon"

Wow! That's the only Bee Gees song I ever liked. I hope I haven't offended any Bee Gees fans. :(

A lot of times there is more to it than simply clicking the back button. When I'm sitting there with my daughter-in-law, and some zit faced chick sucking off her boyfriend pops up on the PAD meta-gallery, IN QUESTION that made Jude sick, and she is pretty open-minded.

Terrific. You found that. Can you point me to it, too?

If you are talking about the image(s) in question, they have since been either put in private galleries or deleted all together.

goodness, gary, I was just kidding around. I was sort of glibly seconding your complaint about some of the non-family-friendly stuff my mother-in-law sometimes spies while I'm trying to find her a picture of a sunset or a squirrel. "WHOOPS..." Etc.

 I thought you were but at the same time, I have received a lot of messages taking heat for my comments. I just hope everyone can appreciate the fact that I'm not being some sort of moral cop, but just trying to do my part in keeping PBase the kind of place everyone can enjoy.

Hope I don't offend, but I believe the song goes like this:

I started a joke
Which started the whole world crying
Oh but I didn't see
That the joke was on me....

One of my favorites too.

I'm thinking "Staying Alive" might be more appropriate :P

You're right Anna. My apologies to the Bee Gees.

I think I may have been thinking of the paraphrased version.

I STARTED A JOKE

I started a joke which started the whole world crying
But I didn't see that the joke was on me oh no
I started to cry which started the whole world laughing
Oh If I'd only seen that the joke was on me

I looked at the skies running my hands over my eyes
And I fell out of bed hurting my head from things that I said
'Till I finaly died which started the whole world living
Oh If I'd only seen that the joke was on me

I looked at the skies running my hands over my eyes
And I fell out of bed hurting my head from things that I said
'Till I finaly died which started the whole world living
Oh If I'd only seen that the joke was on me
Oh no that the joke was on me

and of course,

I’m a joker
I’m a smoker
I’m a midnight toker
I sure don’t want to hurt no one

What's a midnight toker? Something like a pedestrian hack???

A toker is one who tokes. A midnight toker is one who tokes at midnight. Does that help?

I have, in my past, been a joker, a smoker and a midnight toker, but now I'm just a joker.

However, it has always been true that "I don't want to hurt no one".

"Father forgive them, they don’t know what they do".
The Bible

Sorry Jeremy, the true joker that you are must appreciate my reply.
Don't take it as an offence please.
It's full of sympathy.
