I have a rather eclectic variety that I enjoy reading.
One of my favorite books was called "Icebound" by Dr. Jerri Nielsen... about the female doctor who battled for survival with breast cancer in Antarctica. This book will make you laugh, make you cry, and will amaze you with the ability to survive under such inhumane weather conditions.

Recently discovered the writing of Jason Elliot. I recently read "An Unexpected Light: Travels in Afghanistan and am now reading "Mirrors of the Unseen: Journeys in Iran. His writing will grab your attention in the first sentence and carry you along on a journey like no other!

Have also just finished Richard Dawkins "The Greatest Show on Earth"... the evidence for evolution.

14. The Harvest Is Mostly In http://www.pbase.com/image/128461165/medium September brings cold mornings and warm afternoons around here. Soon we will have fog over the rivers in the mornings. Ranches are busy getting in their harvest, and a few are trying to get in a last crop of hay in before the snow falls.
