Thank you all for your comments and critiques yesterday - I got some really useful comments and advice, and I think on reflection that I hadn't given the composition enough consideration about what it was I was trying to achieve...Phillip and Racine sort of said what I had been thinking all along, that having a bright central point was a tad off-putting and contrary to the title of the photo You live and learn, it was a useful exercise - thanks all
