Never been to Durham before, sounds like a winner.....the train from Aberdeen goes straight there! Count me in. Any recommendations for hotels appreciated.

Not sure there are any pubs in Durham! I'm always too drunk to find them.

We can only make Saturday. Gotta wedding to shoot Sunday. It is for dear friend who decided to get married a little earlier than planned, because he is young and he is in love, so could hardly say no.

As for pubs, we need to check what the lighting is like. if too dark and boring, I suggest Homebrew on Cathedral Green.
