12. Another Beauty http://www.pbase.com/image/136345486/large I loved the porch on this one. It reminded me of my girlhood home. In the days before AC, families spent their summer evenings on the porch, with the kids running around on the lawn.

This is the view from the wardens residence, Cedarhedge. Construction commenced in 1833 and Kingston Penitentiary is still in use today. This makes it the oldest active "pen" in North America if not the World.
