Good morning/afternoon/evening!

A short story goes with today's post. I was driving along the back roads of Vancouver Island, 'scavenging' for some photo ops and as I came around a corner I saw an unexpected sight. My first thought was WOW....then I moved on to oh boy, if I can just get this shot I can cross another word off the list! The light was difficult and the location was, let's just say challenging....from the looks of things this wasn't going to be easy, then along came a couple of interruptions and it moved right into the difficult category....but I'll have to say it was fun. Seldom do things turn out exactly like you want, i.e. a photo that is perfect in every way, but for me this really does meet the requirements for surprising.
