Thank you for your kind messages regarding the strong earthquake in our area yesterday afternoon.
We experienced a 7.2 earthquake on the Richter Scale at 3:40 yesterday. The quake lasted about twenty seconds.
The epicenter was about 120 miles / 193 km to the East / South East of us.
It shook our house quite a bit, caused turbulence in our swimming pool and scared Diego our cat and his two human house mates a bit.
As far as I can tell there is no damage at all to our property or in our area and we are fine.

Everyone in our home has been sick. Ellie is just getting over Strep. Miles went to the doctor yesterday (Easter and his birthday) and we found out he has Bronchitis. April and I are both fighting of the symptoms that they have. Both of them got to get out for the family Easter Egg Hunt but I'm not sure it was a wise move. Sorry to be behind. I'll try to catch up soon.
