Each year, on the first weekend of December, there is a large celebration in Williamsburg, Virginia, known as the Grand Illumination with fireworks, parades and plenty else. The place is mobbed. Among the many things that occur, there is a competition of wreath decorations in the Colonial Village (no lights or glitter).
