7. Gateway to Chaparral; http://www.pbase.com/image/131660243/large The weather warmed a bit yesterday (to 26 degrees F), but the day before I took this on the way to work. The inversion layer has trapped the wood smoke causing the pink color. Wood stoves can't be burned in town on "red days" (High pollution days), but out in the country some folks have no other source of heat. The government is giving credit to people that replace their old, less clean stoves with new more efficient and less polluting stoves
