February Challenge?

I probably would have to see a therapist to determine why "choosing the best of" my images is such a stressful thought. LOL To me it would be work, not fun at all and so hard to do. I guess all my work is about the same and I don't think any of it is really "stand out" or great/better/best. In fact, not that you asked and sorry for too much info lol but.. it's time to get any entries ready for county fair and I can't find anything I'd enter.

Felt good to share, thanks for listening I'm lucky that Feb for me is still more than a full day away.. but I would like to do a pad I think.. just of what!

fyi.. laryl, that's me, is a *she* .. a grandma even! Weather would work for me for about 4 days in a month.. one sunny day, one sunset and one sunrise and a shot of clouds IF we got any. There is no weather here, only plain blue skies.. talk about boring! Guess I could get a fog machine and fake it? hmm actually I heard there is fog sort of in the wee hours of the morning sometimes in the foothills hehe. Don't base a pad idea on me though.. just bored this afternoon and feeling chatty

Although I love candids, I'm not up for that as a February challenge. I do have an alternative to suggest, however.

Given that February is Valentine's month, how about a simple theme of "RED" ? Images that focus (no pun) on something red, or have something to do with the color red, etc. etc. etc. This seems to be one that everyone could do in any climate. Still lifes, signs, you name it. Anyone up for a RED challenge?

I could go with red, had actually been planning a red gallery, so have a store
of red images, if that's not cheating. (and in this climate I don't care if it is!)

For a future PAD, how about "Occupation" Either your own, getting yourself at work or school, the tools of your trade, stereotype clientele , customers or whatever. Then we get a chance to know each other better & for those who are retired, unemployed, their hobbies, travels etc. or if you are too shy, then other occupations...can imagine some very nice foxy firefighter shots....

How about alternating the colors every 7 days? 7 days red, 7 days blue, 7 days green, 7 days yellow. Fits exactly into the 28 days of February and adds variety. Just a thought.

LOL when you figure it out let me know too! I think Feb is going to be interesting! I need to push myself to do candids but I'm afraid since I don't leave the house on a lot of days that you'd all get tired of baby photos Don't know what I'm going to do.. weather is out for sure lol

In my country, candids are not really allowed, theres even a lawsuit that had to be paid for a candid shot of a girl, I rarely do them, and mostly from the back.
