What? No January challenge?

I'm not sure I could do 'minimalist' all January either, but
I can't think of anything any better at the moment.
I'll try and dream too.
We'll have to hurry the time is nearly with us.

Well, I just got my first external flash unit, a Canon 550 EX. Never have had anything but the little pop up before, which is pretty lame. So I'd be up for a challenge of a month of flash photos! (I realize most folks probably won't be up for this, but I would learn a lot, fast, if I dedicated a month to it!)

So...how about "Flash your flash!" Challenge??

I thought this morning because January is a cold and dark month generally, how about taking things that either keep us warm, make us feel good and generally lift our spirits.?

We best be quick and decide - It is nearly upon us.

I have a SB600 Speedlight I rarely use, so why don't we learn flash photography from each other this January? Should be interesting.

I think I'll take pictures of happy things I like using my big flash I know nothing about yet! I'm going to try to get invovled this month. Sounds like fun!
