Hyperventilating can make you quite tipsy too, maybe we should ban breathing. I am a one glass of wine per month to be socialable drinker. I don't mind my friends drinking around me in moderation. This discusion is good, but ultimately it is a personal choice and moderation should prevail. Drunks need to be kept in their place (a home) and off the street.

We don't have no problems with alcohol round these parts - some drink, others don't.
If some a**hole gets real drunk an causes trouble, we shoot 'em!
Should we ban guns, then? Sorry, that's another topic!

Nice site she has. I missed the part where she presented her credentials. Like she said in her blog entry -- we all have a choice. Just everyone who chooses to drink is wrong evil wrong wrong.

I wonder if she knows grain alcohol is fairly low in carbs...

Funny how Jesus made water into wine and that is okay but having a glass of wine with dinner or socially is completely wrong in her eyes?...it is only bad if you overdo it all the time. She needs to get a life! Geez!!!!!!! I think I'll have a glass and I don't even drink!!

Okay, I went to her blog.....now there is a picture of her in a pair of short shorts and her belly is showing.....now that doesn't set a fine example...maybe men would lust after her and how would that look to her church?? She belongs to the Latter Day Saints Church.....I won't say much about that but it is not her place to be judgemental.....her pushiness will push folks far away from God instead of bringing them closer. That is a sin in itself. Maybe she needs to look at her own life and see that she is not perfect either, as much as she would like to be. As I said, she needs a life. Playing with dolls has cracked her mind!

"It looks like they are holding booze glasses" . . . that's quite an assumption . . .or ESP . . . there is no proof there is ANYthing in those glasses . . . the only thing OBVIOUS is that they are stemmed glasses, which, granted are typically associated with an alcoholic beverage. But they are also associated with parfaits . . . and fruited non-alcoholic beverages . . . even iced water. They may simply have been "favors" given to patrons . . .with something inscribed on the side to commemorate the event. Who knows.

Poor Cindy has had a lot of negative association with beverages and can only see in one dimension.
