I've never been much of an Ansel Adams fan, though I do admire his work and have a framed art poster for his "Examples" exhibit.
There's a gallery locally here that has a print of "Moonrise" on display (and for sale) and I must tell you it looks infinitely better in person
than in print or on the web.
Give me Walker Evans, Danny Lyons, Lartigue, Cartier-Bresson or any of a thousand others and I'd be happy.
PS: You mean you've never seen Adams' SP's he posted on Fridays in the meta?
Must have been the days you were on holiday in Spain. The one he did with Jeanne was really funny.
I think there were sock monkeys on his head and a photo of Linda photoshopped into one eye.
