Forgot to say I'd be most likely to make it on the 19th.

You mean you're all real people? :P

I should be ok for most weekends! (does this mean I have to PaD next year too?).

So the dates thing is coming together.

Any strong views on location? Obviously there won't be pristine white snow, blue skies and a clear road network, so we have to think where we want to be if it's grey, wet, chilly, and we don't all arrive together.

What do you think of Kew Gardens, or should it be more central London?

Please suggest away .......

Maybe the input of our US 'can't walk on water' friends should be to choose where they want to see pictures of 8)

Maybe we should agree on arrangements by Christmas at the latest, so we can all put the date on to our new calendars

I feel like Bob Geldof - trying to get all these big PBase 'stars' into one place on the same day!

OMG - I hadn't considered the artistic egos and tantrums we may have on the day! :?

Leave our egos at the door! (adopts double teapot...)

As I'll be overnighting, it doesnt really matter to me where it is. Apparently you suggested Camden Lock for starters, for a centrally located site.

Greenwich / Canary Wharf might be another option, that might be too out of the way though, lol

Just make sure you post the photo of the group hoisting those pints at the pub, just before the brawl breaks out.

I would be happy with Camden as the area has a diverse range of photographic opportunities, such as the market, green spaces, canal etc. Its on the Northern Line.

Greenwich similarly - it has a large park, the Cutty Sark, as well as street life. Its on the Docklands Light Rail and a ride on that up to Canary Wharf is fun.

Oh, and hot chocolate is available at both I'm understand.

Dan and Jude could arrive on the Regents Canal at the former, or on the River Thames at the latter.

Would it be possible for one of you to create a 'trip report' - we can do a short feature in the April 06 PBase Mag.

I'll vote for the 19th as well. Camden would suit me nicely as it's a ten minute drive from home :) , or if people want somewhere a bit more central and accessible we could do Chinatown/Soho?

I'm building a raft with bamboo and hemp ala Huck Finn.

I think I'll let Jude steer as I'll be busy with the camera
as we navigate those locks and busy maritime lanes.

I was wondering...do I need to hoist a flag or will that
make us a target?
