This one's a stretch to fit the theme. Carly, my cat, seen stretching high above ground to retrieve a teddy bear, which soon came crashing down to...<drumroll>...the ground I walk on!

Having walked along this street many times, here is a picture of the traditional parade during the festivities dedicated to St. John the Baptist, held in Terceira Island, Azores.

The county parks that line the river all have at least some boardwalk to allow people to get close to nature. I try to go when the traffic is lite, and there is more chance to come away with some pictures worthy of posting.
