I've at last completed my Speakers Corner gallery. I posted the last 11 this morning to make up a total of 65 images. If you ever in London on a Sunday, please try and visit this place. It is a goldmine of opportunities!

Sure I'll visit, Ray, seems too interesting...
Btw, what happens around Covent Garden / Leicester square, do you think there are photographically cool situations too?

Adal asked what happens around Covent Garden and Leicester Square.
There are very near to each other and both have candid possibilities, but Covent Garden more so.

Covent Garden has an old covered market which is great to look around. There are possibilities in there, but at one end you will find very good musicians playing for free in a sunken well area. I have made many photographs there, for example
Bebeto http://www.pbase.com/clickaway/bebeto

ZHL String Quartet http://www.pbase.com/clickaway/zhl
All around the market hall you will find street entertainers of various kinds, but do not forget to take the street due north of the market (Boots the Chemist is just on the right) and here you usually see about 4 living statues. I find that the presence of these 'statues' are also a great prompt for expressions of passers by.

The expression on these girls was sparked by seeing one of the living statues 'in action'...

For sure! (and this should be a rule for every travelling pBaser, to meet friends when possible).
I am now planning my Christmas / New Year holidays, and also Easter next year. Program: Cities of Europe. London is obviously in the list, although at this time nothing has been decided yet.

Btw, what about a pBase-PaD meeting, 5 - 10 PaD'ers, someday somewhere? (Remember the the NYC one) Certainly would be fun :D .

With all the cheap flights in Europe nowadays, there is no excuse not to!

Whilst the majority of the European PaDers may live in the UK, I'd be more than happy to jet off and combine some sight-seeing with a PaD meet.

Now, is there anybody from North America planning on a transatlantic visit?

- Not really from North America nor is my flight transatlantic but.... I've got some business in London round Christmass...

- Extra Extra Read all about it (too dramatic?) ehmm... Ok got a new collection up of my most favourite hand shots! I figured it was interesting and, since I haven't seen a dedicated gallery on hands on pbase, somewhat NEW! (feet are a whole different story ;). You can find the gallery at http://www.pbase.com/polyvios/hands I would appreciate any kind of critique on them (just be honest really)

- This thread is getting kind of long... think we should start a new one?

Adal asked about Covent Garden Market in London a few days ago.

Well, I've just uploaded a gallery showing what this place is all about. There are plenty of photo possibilities.

Here's the link.... http://www.pbase.com/clickaway/gallery/covent

And here's a sample picture.. Image

A four-eyed photo safari at the Covent Garden... with all the images anonymously (cool word, hope exists) mixed together and posted... could be a guess game, a real fun!

I recently spent two weeks at an event held by the Society of Creative Anachronism called Pennsic War. I went with the intention of spending both weeks shooting as many good photos as I could. I had attended this event last year for only four days and shot a few photos, which I had posted in SCA related community groups.

Due to that exposure, this year, every time I walked out of camp people would stop me and say, “hey, aren’t you that Darter guy? I/we love you photos! Would shoot “Xâ€
