I seem to be making galleries like crazy lately, and now that I've come to Wisconsin for the summer I've made this one:

and another that's from a weekend in Michigan, the state where I was born:

CASTLE HUNTING
http://www.pbase.com/lusobrandane/castles

My new project.... castle hunting. Apparently there are over 3,000 castles in Scotland (a country about half the size of California). Some of these castles are assertive and show themselves off in all their glory at the tops of hills or cliffs: others are more timid, and can be found hidden away in forgotten corners. Some are large palaces, others are small towers; some are immaculately maintained, others are little more than a crumbling pile of stones. My mission is to find as many as possible, and to post them here.

A copy&paste gallery, due to the very slow connection I have now.
A moment of zen-like reflection about myself and what I am doing here.

This is on-going. It began last December when I spotted a sign that made me stop, blink and then laugh. Since then I've taken other shots of "signs" that, in one way or another, made me grin.

Finally - PaD in NYC the B&W pictures!

Post Thu Aug 05, 2004 4:59 pm

You know the problem with film... you start a film in March, and by August you finally get to see the pictures. This is an addition to the PaD in NYC gallery. All the fun we had back in March. The shots I took with a little rangefinder camera on b&w film.

Take a look - the gallery is at:
