March challenge ideas ?

Has anyone ideas for the long March month ?

I thought to something : Material, matter, I mean : metal, wood, glass, fabric, mineral.... Natural or manufactured...
Is that enjoying or not ?

Sounds like a good idea to me!

To make it more challenging could be to put "old" and "new" in one picture! There´s an english word for it, I forgot, sorry!

Sounds like a good is idea for this month. I was thinking of an idea on the Theme of One single object, choose an object at the start of the month( and choose very carefully) , then photograph it using as many techniques and/or editing methods as you like, It would really stretch the imagination and techniques over a full month. If your subject has to stop the same and only your techniques can change I think it would challenge even the best of us.
For example; choose say a spoon, then maybe do the following.

A shallow dof shot, A wide dof shot, An action shot, a black and white shot, a high key and low key shot, a motion blur shot , a water shot, the spoon in a new location, a comical shot, A photo warp, an out of frame, shot, a moody shot, a sinister shot, a zoom shot...............The list could be endless, or you may start and struggle , who knows?


Maybe a one for next month?

Have to carefully choose the subject because 30 days around a fork (for example), I will become mad ! LOL !

31 days of one subject is just a bit much. But I like the idea. Perhaps a subject per 10 days, 3 different subjects for the month plus a free day?
Old and New is okay too.

Something to think about in the future, I would like to do another Scavenger Hunt month again. To have a list of 31 objects/subjects/book or song titles... we could each contribute 2 or 3 ideas to the list. We can do the list in any order, as long as we do them all.

I'm up for whatever. Thanks for being patient with me while I was so busy this month. I am only now able to start catching up with the challenge. I took photos every day for my PaD but didn't have time to keep up with both galleries.

Hello all challengers friends !

I think it would be a bit new idea to search and find , for a same subject matter (or material) a new and an old one, on the SAME picture, instead of, as it was still done, to divide the month in three parts with 10 timesx3 the same thing.
an exemple : the material is potery, look with old and new ones :



And each day a new idea with other matter, iron, leather, wood, plastic......

I'm too busy to join in this month, but am looking forward to April. If it's o.k. with you guys, let's do a Scavenger Hunt similar to the one Ray initiated lat year. I will start compiling a list of thirty terms/words/etc. for April. If you have any suggestion, please send them to me.

I'm with Walter on this one. I have too many photo-shoots this month scheduled to be able to participate. And I'll try to join in April, if things calm down. Y'all have fun and look forward to your images! I'll make sure to visit everyone's shots!
