Just wondering if anyone wanted to get a January challenge started...I'm game either way. If so, any ideas??

I will certainly join, although family, work and our new appartement (which will be ready at the end of March) are time consuming.
Haven't thought about a theme yet.

I wish. I doubt that Pbase is going to fix this site at least back to it's previous status by the coming year. I refuse to send them one more penny until they show good effort and understanding of the basic functions of this website. Three months of this has taken the pleasure and trust completely away

My creative juices are a little....ummm...on the slow side at the mo, but here are a few ideas:

weather
photos derived from book, magazine or newspaper titles (bit like the Pink Floyd Challenge)
nature/animals
geography
light/dark
emotions (are there 31?)
chemistry
communication(s)
industry

Don't know how some of these would work over 31 days, just thinking out loud!

Earlier this year someone came up with the idea of "Signs" - any sort of sign.....

I'm in.

While I was eating a really yummy cheeseburger & fries at the Charcoal Pit today I got to thinking of something "food service" related. ie - restaurants, menus, dishes, utensils, glassware, appliances, waitresses/waiters, etc. Photos could be taken at home, inside a restaurant, outside a restaurant, etc.

I was leaning towards b&w or monochrome which could include a lot of the other suggestions but just in B&W or Sepia....either way will work for me. But, I'm open to anything.
