December Challenge Ideas?

Hello Folks,

Three days left...we need to think about December . In our discussions for November, Laine mentioned shapes (10 x square, 10 x round, 10 x triangle) - I think that's a cracking idea, and we could even incorporate some individuality around it, so it would be up to us to choose the three shapes. Maybe the 31st shape could be an amalgam of all three?? And we could continue the scavenge theme buy not being constrained to the order in which we post...

...just some ideas, please come back with your or tear these one down

I had so much fun with the November challenge and still have a ton of pics for the songs that I will probably continue that in another gallery. But, am up for a December theme as well! Like Doug's/Laine's idea...any other thoughts?

I too have had so much fun with the November challenge (thanks Walter). I am not that good with shapes and things. I wondered about one called 'Tis the Season to be Jolly'. That way it would cover a multitude of ideas. It could be seasonal, shapes, even Pink Floyd songs Cindi. Just anything that makes us Jolly.

Just an idea.

Shapes would be very interesting. I think we should all be on the same page, to make it even more interesting... by that I think we could have the first 10 days be circles. The second 10 days could be squares (thinking Christmas present boxes!!) and the next 10 would be triangles (I'm thinking Christmas trees and stars!) BUT, could we make Dec 25th a "special" day where we post an OLD photo of ourselves from a Christmas (or another tradional holiday for those who don't celebrate Christmas) past.

I like Kathryn's idea of a Christmas/holiday jolly theme...there's enough doom and gloom around at the mo, and for us lot in the northern hemisphere there's precious little daylight either...brightening us all up would be a great idea for the month...and yes, we could do shapes in January!

Jolly means fun, lively, enjoyment, laughter, etc....lovely would even fit!

My december 2009 gallery will be called "circles, rectangles and triangles".
And I think that it leaves me lots of space for seasonal influences.

I do like the idea of Christmas / holiday themes. But, I'm game for whatever!
Lynn's suggestion of posting a photo of a special memory on Dec. 25th should be used, regardless of whatever theme is chosen.
